Hannah Broadley-Becker, aged 17, born and raised in Leicester, is currently studying film at Leicester College. Before college they also studied film at GSCE level, in which, as part as of their studies, they wrote, directed, filmed, and edited the horror short film, ‘Trust’ (2024). ​

Within their first year of college they wrote, helped film and edited the psychological period short film, ‘Lady Luck’ (2025) as well as co-writing, doing the cinematography and editing the comedy short film, ‘Method acting’ (2025), as a part of the Leicester comedy festival ‘Popcorn Funnies’, which was premiered at the Odeon and attended by a panel of industry experts. They also created a music video to promote the local artists ‘Freakbone’. Outside of college they have undergone other projects such as 'Hide & Seek' a Wes Anderson inspired short film which is currently in the editing process, as well as the writing of many other scripts. ​

After college Hannah intends to do freelance work for a year before attending university to continue their studies in film production. After education Hannah hopes to work on a film set and dreams of becoming a director or working in the camera department. They are interested in bringing more queer, especially trans, representation in the film industry, inspired by their own queer identity.
